TEAM LEADER

The team leader is responsible for the organization, the animation of a team and the optimization of resources and the means at his disposal to achieve the delivery objectives in compliance with the regulations and safety instructions.

DESCRIPTION OF SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

1/ Team leadership:

  • Ensure the management of the team attached to him, animate his team on a daily basis (ensure the management of scores and the management of nominal dosimeters if site in nuclear environment)

  • Conduct the activities briefing before each shift

  • Ensure the proper consideration and application of QSE instructions and rules by the team 

  • Provide technical support to the team and interface with other departments

  • Maintain and develop the skills of its evaluation team

  • Ensure team compliance and application of QSE procedures and PPE

  • Lead team meetings

  • Be prepared to occupy the position of site manager occasionally

 

2/Compliance and Application of QSE rules

  • Implement all provisions for the safety of his team on the site

  • Escalate any incident/event

  • Provide technical support to the QSE/PCR during the development of the ADR and the chat materials for security briefings.

  • Contribute to the choice of PPE and update the Single Risk Assessment Document.

  • Exercise the right of withdrawal and/or report dangerous operations/situations to N+1 and QSE.

  • Participate in accident reporting and analysis and implement prevention measures

3/ Contribution à l’amélioration de la performance  

  • Identify the dysfunctions of its sector, analyses and proposals for improvement solutions

  • Be the guarantor of safety to ensure the protection of the employees: participate in the implementation of the improvements of post and the trees of the causes of accident at work, ensure compliance with the instructions

  • Take the steps towards safety progress

  • Technical skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.)

  • Reading plans and technical documentation and interpretation

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools

  • Managerial skills: local HR: manager, coach and motivate a team and manage conflicts and crises

  • Communication skills: know how to escalate information  

  • Knowledge and application of security and QSE rules

  • Proficiency in office computing tools 

  •  Sometimes using a machine requiring an authorisation such as CACES (see gantry, hoist, overhead crane, forklift)
