1/Inspection by penetrant and magnetoscopy of metallurgical products
​

Prepare the workstation for a penetrant and magnetic particle inspection operation.

Establish and draft the intervention procedure in accordance with the requirements of the specifications.

Control metallurgical products by penetrant.
-
Check metallurgical products by magnetoscopy.
-
Interpret the indications of lack of a surface check and decide in accordance with the admissibility framework.
-
Examine the control minutes in accordance with an established procedure.
-
Participate in safety site visits and implementation of corrective actions and preventive measures.

Report on the progress of its activity

Perform checks on pipe or metal structure welds at the end of manufacture or during periodic monitoring in order to guarantee the quality of manufacture of a component or its robustness in operation

Guarantees compliance with human safety rules and environmental rules.

Inform the constructor or customers of the compliance or non-compliance decisions it makes and the consequences they may cause

Holds COFREND certification in one of the control methods according to the certification levels (from 1 to 3)

Electrical and mechanical authorisations

Proficiency in office and computer tools

Written and oral communication/ reports, reports, design of analysis protocols, passing instructions
